2023 P3 Rosé
Inspired by great European-styled Rosé, we make this wine using traditional methods and techniques.
Our Rosè is a field blend of Pinot Meunier (50%), Pinot Gris(35%) and Pinot Noir (15%). Three non-traditional but delicious partners.
All 3 varieties are picked simultaneously and soaked in the press overnight to gently extract colour to the desired hue. The free run juice is then drained and the skins pressed to tank, where a cool, gentle fermentation ensues. Post fermentation, one neutral oak barrel (8+ years old) is filled for a short period of oak storage, to accentuate the creaminess and textural elegance of the wine.
A really delightfull Tasmanian Rosè, full of everything you'd ever want.
