2018 Oulton XP Pinot Noir
The Oulton Vineyard is our lowest and most protected - a place where ripeness is achieved via some of the most idyllic growing conditions in Australia. Fruit for this wine was selected from both MV6 and 115 clones. Vines were heavily de-leafed following veraison. Winter pruned to 3-arm arched.
This wine was fermented utilizing the XP yeast strain, following an extended cold soak. Post fermentation the wine was matured in first-class French oak barriques, 38% new. No racking during maturation. No fining. No filtration.
