2018 Bonadale Pinot Noir
The Bonadale Vineyard is our highest and most sun-exposed. Fruit for this wine was selected from 2 clones – D4V2 and 115. Both clones
are intensely aromatic, powerful clones. These clones represent the ripest fruit from our ripest plot. Fruit was handpicked at vintage. Vines were heavily de-leafed following veraison.
Fruit was 100% destemmed and cold soaked for 14 days prior to wild fermentation. Fermentation took place in a 3,500L Burgundian oak vat to provide superior oak integration and sophistication. Following fermentation, the wine was matured in first-class French oak barriques, 38% new. This wine is unfiltered and unfined.
