2007 Best Tourism Winery (28/03/2008)
Ghost Rock's entry in this year's Tasmanian Tourism Awards took home the title of Best Tourism Winery. Quite an achievement for a family run business that's only been operating a cellar door for 18 months.
As state winners, Ghost Rock travelled to Canberra in February 2008 for the national awards, and although we didn't win the national title it was a great opportunity to network and celebrate our success.

During Tasmanian Living Artists' Week it's so easy to be part of the action. Whether its artists in residence or an evening of music, art and fine wine, there's something for everyone.
Our featured artists were watercolour specialist Jan Suter and photographer Darren Rist.
Jan was artist in residence over the weekend of August 25 & 26, whilst Darren's outdoor exhibit 'from the perspective of the telephone box!' drew quite a lot of interest.

Cellar Door takes business to new level (15/11/2006)
Adding a cellar door has expanded Cate & Colin Arnold's vineyard experience. Not only have the Arnolds 'value-added' to their business, but they have also created a cultural hub at the Ghost Rock premises at Northdown, near Port Sorell.
The new cellar door, which has hosted art exhibitions, jazz events, wine & cheese tastings and Tasmanian Living Writers' Week events, was officially opened in April 2006.
"It's completely changed the dynamic of our business. We've gone from having a paddock with vines on it to having an identity," Mrs Arnold said.
"It's a real experience. People like to come and taste the wine and see the vines outside."
"I think it's really important for vineyard cellar doors to be cultural centres in their communities. It gives people a reason to come out, not just to taste wine, but to see an exhibition or hear some jazz."
