Easter Egg Hunt & Family Picnic

The Ghost Rock Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic is now becoming a family tradition for not only our family but many local families as well.  Now an annual event, held each year on Easter Saturday, families bring along the tribe, picnic in tow, and celebrate the magic of Easter on our lawns around Cellar Door. Its a special event, that is now very popular and is a sellout every year.  


EVENT INFO:

When: Easter Saturday 20th April 2019

Time: 11am - 3pm

Carpark opens at 10am. Gates open at 11am.

TICKETS SALES AT THE GATE. CHILDREN 3-5 HUNT IS SOLD OUT.

Purchasing Tickets: When purchasing a ticket, please select the age category of each person attending the event.  This ensures we know how many people are participating in each age category for the Easter Egg Hunts.  Children under 3 are free, however please order a ticket for the child if they intend to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt, so we know they are coming.

Ticket Prices:

General Admin (13+yrs - Adults/Teens) - $20                                            

Children (3-12yrs) - $15

Children 2 and under Free

Ticket includes:

Each ticket provides admission to the Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic event.  Children Tickets include admission to ONE age based Easter Egg Hunt and access to activities such as Facepainting, Jumping Castles, Balloon Artists.  There is live entertainment for the whole family.  Food and drinks available for purchase or bring your own picnic.

Ticket Entry: All event attendees must have a valid ticket to gain entry to the event.

FOOD & DRINKS OPTIONS

The Easter Egg Hunt is a family picnic, so you are welcome to bring along a basket full of goodies to share with friends and family.  It is however a STRICTLY NO BYO DRINKS event (Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic. Water permitted.) 

SAUSAGE SIZZLE: A sausage sizzle will be available.

PICNIC CHEESE BOXES: Small picnic style cheese boxes from Southern Sky Cheese will be available for purchase for $20.  They contain a selection of three Tasmanian cheeses, some crackers and bamboo cutlery.

PRODUCE BOXES:  If you would prefer not to lug your picnic in, we can take care of it for you. Our Produce Boards are popular in Cellar Door, but we understand people prefer to sit out on the lawns and enjoy the atmosphere. So, this year we are selling our Produce Boards "to go" for $80. Comfortably feed a family of four.

CELLAR DOOR & EATERY:  You  are welcome to book a table in our Cellar Door and Eatery. You can choose to sit inside, on the deck, on the terrace or on the picnic tables.  We will offer table service and you have full access to our Cellar Door and Eatery Menu. Bookings advisable 03 6428 4005.  All of the activity takes place around our Cellar Door, so you are still part of all of the action, with a birds eye view.

OTHER INFORMTAION

PICNIC SPACE: You are welcome to bring a picnic blanket and some deck/garden chairs to picnic on the lawns around Cellar Door.

CAR PARKING: Car parking is provided on the Western vineyard. It is then a short walk to the event site.  Please follow the signs on the day.

WEATHER:  The Easter Egg Hunt will go ahead if it rains.  The event will only be cancelled if conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If the event is cancelled for this reason, a full refund will be provided from the point of purhase.

REFUNDS: No refunds for lost tickets, change of mind, change of plans or bad weather.  

CHILD SUPERVISION: Please ensure that children are accompanied by an Adult at all times.

NO SMOKING EVENT: This is strictly a non-smoking event.
